HIVE BEGAN HUMBLY – IN A SMALL HALL, WITH JUST A HUNDRED MEMBERS, A FEW ENTHUSIASTIC PEOPLE AND A GREAT LOVE FOR CLIMBING. IT WAS A PLACE WHERE WE SPENT DAYS GRINDING ROUTES, REPAIRING GRIPS, SHARING MAGNESIUM, IDEAS AND SOMETIMES – HALL KEYS.

EVERYTHING WAS SIMPLE, BUT HONEST. AND IT LIVED BECAUSE THE COMMUNITY WAS JOINED.

When it came time to look for a new space, we didn't just want more square footage. We wanted to create a place that would be a place of climbing, community, and growth, but also to follow our passion.

Without big sponsors, without investment funds – with private funds and the support of climbers who believed in the idea, we set out to build the Hive as you know it today. Every corner of this hall bears the mark of the people who created it.

Every direction, every record and every new idea exists
thanks to that energy.
